Commitment to Growth
Always learning. Always refining. Always improving.
Continuing education isn’t something I check a box on—it’s a core part of how I run my program. I actively seek out opportunities to learn, to be coached, and to be challenged. Not because I have to, but because it makes me better—for the horses, for my riders, and for the standard I hold myself to.

What this looks like:
My involvement in continuing education includes:
-
Active participation in the Eventing Coaches Program (ECP), working toward certification
-
Serving on the USEA Area IX Council, supporting education and growth within our region
-
Regular training with top professionals and clinicians
-
Time spent riding, working, and learning in competitive environments, including extended training in Florida
-
Hosting and organizing clinics to bring high-level education into our local community
Why it matters:
This matters because riders deserve a program that is evolving—not one that is stuck in what worked ten years ago.
When I continue to learn, my riders benefit from:
-
clearer communication
-
more effective training systems
-
safer, more thoughtful decision-making
-
and a program that adapts as they grow
I don’t expect my riders to invest in their development if I’m not willing to do the same.

Expectations:
Being part of this program means being part of a learning environment.
Riders are encouraged to:
-
participate in clinics and lessons
-
ask questions and seek understanding
-
stay open to feedback and growth
This isn’t about being perfect—it’s about being willing to improve.
